Biscuits

4 cups flour

8 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 tsp cream of tarter

2 tbsp sugar

1 cup shortening

1 1/3 cup milk

Add together dry ingredients, with a pastry blender cut the shortening into the dry ingredients until it looks like bread crumbs.  Stir in Milk. Turn on to floured board, flatten to about 3/4″and cut into biscuits

Bake at 425° for 12 minutes
